Live and Work on the Lake and in the Heart of Switzerland

The idyllic location on the shore of Lake Lucerne, the expansive Krämerstein park with its population of old trees, and the charming little house featuring a two-room apartment with a modest and purpose-oriented interior – it all makes for a unique location. A double stairway leads from the Haus am See up to the Villa Krämerstein, from whence a shaded ally takes you past the gardener’s and porter’s houses to St. Niklausenstrasse. The park is open to the public and bathing in the lake is permitted.

But the Haus am See is not only ideal for relaxation and concentrated work in an inspiring atmosphere.

It also is the perfect base for the exploration of one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland. World-renown mountains, such as the Rigi, Bürgenstock, Pilatus, and the two Mythen are within easy reach. From spring to Fall, majestic steam ships traverse the lake. Lucerne and its diverse cultural life consisting of museums as well as the KKL Luzern are nearby. Even Zug, Zurich, Bern, Basel, and the Ticino can be reached in only one to two hours’ travel.
